Tweed Coast Glass Pty Ltd is an Australian owned company which was established in 1995 by locals, Directors Steve Spence and Robert Kinneally.
Steve and Rob had a vision to found a company which would one day be a leader in the manufacturing and installation of aluminium windows and doors. With their ambition, foresight, determination and commitment to their vision they began working hard to achieve this ultimate goal.
They began their first operations from Cabarita with the manufacturing and installation of shower screens, security grilles, fly screens and security doors. From these small humble beginnings they ventured into a new direction, opening a factory to cater for all types of aluminium windows and doors in the residential sector and so the new premises in Ozone Street Chinderah was opened in 1998.
Some 12 years later Tweed Coast Glass Pty Ltd expanded once again and moved to Morton Street, Chinderah, this was once again due to organic growth and higher demand for their product which required larger premises for the business to meet the customers needs. At this stage the company was becoming recognized in the market as a quality producing company that was reliable and experienced and being recommended by architects to builders and developers. Once again Steve and Rob decided that there was room for improvement by introducing Commercial windows and doors.
Tweed Coast Glass Pty Ltd opened its new premises in Morton Street, Chinderah which was designed for future growth and to suit customer needs, they developed a show room that displays the quality of the Aluminium windows and doors and other products that Tweed Coast Glass manufactures.
In 2013, Rob decided he would like a quieter pace of life and stepped down from the Directors position within the company but continued to work within the Company, Rob has since decided to move out of the company. Rob’s son Josh continues to work within the business today.
Steve became the sole Director, the business continued to grow and successfully moved into the Gold Coast and Brisbane areas with commercial multi unit projects.
