Suggested Maintenance schedule

Mild Environment (Being rural, away from the coast and remote from industry and urban activity.) Every Six Months
Moderate Environment (Being mainly urban, inland and away from heavy industry.) Every Three Months
Tropical / Severe (Being coastal/marine, subject to salt deposition and within 15Km of the Eastern Coast, or 10Km of the Western Coast of Australia.) Two or Three Weeks

Colour Options

Alspec Screens can be finished by one of two options for aluminium:

Powder Coating

  • A tough and durable option allowing for a wide range of colours.
  • A choice or world leading suppliers of powder finishes;
  • Finishing is provided by supplier accredited Alspec branches, as well as selected quality contractors.
  • Warranties are available. Depending on your finish option, you will receive a warranty ranging from 7 years (film and colour integrity) to 15 years (film and colour integrity).


You may prefer a choice of anodizing, an electro-chemical treatment available in standard finishes, natural anodized and non standard, bronze and black.

The Invisi-Gard BAL40 screen range has been designed to withstand temperatures of up to 40kW without failure to the EGP retention system. Protection from ember attack and burning debris preventing internal ignition to the building prevents possible loss of homes from the start.

The Invisi-Gard BAL40 screen range successfully exceeded system test requirements outlined in AS1530.8.1 while remaining in operation after the test.
